Assalamu Alaykum! (Peace be with you!) I just realized... I haven't talked much about my videos about Sulu in this blog. I have a playlist which you can watch if you are interested in seeing (or maybe visiting?) my dear homeplace.  Just check it out here: JOLO, SULU PLAYLIST You can watch this instead:      Yup, that is all for today.   PS. I am mulling over the idea of transferring my blog from blogspot to wordpress...  hmmmmmm

Volunteers at work!

During the Special Elections held at different Municipalities in Lanao del Sur on June 3, 2010, I was invited by an instructor (and a good friend) to be part of LENTE and volunteer as their photojournalist to cover the said event.

Excited of the adventure i might face, I never hesitated and joined the Team!

LENTE or LEgal Network for Truthful Elections, A 67-man team delegation was sent to monitor the said election. The team comprised of nine lawyers, paralegals and law students from various law schools like Ateneo de Manila, Ateneo de Davao, Cor Jesu, Xavier University, Mindanao State University - Iligan and Marawi. Former Senator Santanina Rasul was also part of the LENTE delegation. (From Ate Jane torreon)

I was the only Under-Grad Guy in the team... I am just thankful that most of them are friendly and I didn't end up being always left behind:D

My greatest thanks to Prof. Salic "Exann" Sharief who invited me to join this activity, Indeed I enjoyed the Experience and learnings I had; To the LU (Lumbaca Unayan) Team: Atty. Bo, Ate Jane, Ate Mitch, Ate Tin-Tin. Ate Jam, and Kuya Al; And to All the LENTE volunteers in Lanao< Kudos and god bless you all!

Here are some photos they took and I was always being caught in the Act!
